She has worked across various sectors, including psychiatric and community settings, providing therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health difficulties stemming from psychiatric or medical conditions. She has always had a keen interest in working with different population groups and throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work in the areas of child and adolescent mental health, education, and medical health. Deborah also lectures at the University of Malta.
